Is your tax refund delayed or different than expected?

If you already filed a federal and/or state tax return but have not received your tax refund, contact the IRS regarding your federal tax return or the Colorado Department of Revenue regarding your state tax return for additional information.

You can also log into your IRS account, or your Colorado Revenue Online account to check your refund status.

Get cash back when you file your taxes.

You do not need to make much money to get cash back when you file your taxes. Tax credits like the Child Tax Credit, the Earned Income Tax Credit, and others put more money back in your pocket that can be used to help pay for the things you need, like groceries, child care, rent, or car repairs.

Colorado families with children can get up to $2,000 per child from the Child Tax Credit. People with lower incomes can get up to $7,430 from the Earned Income Income Tax Credit. All you have to do is file a tax return to get your credits.
