Colorado Property Tax/Rent/Heat Rebate (PTC Rebate)
The Colorado Property Tax/Rent/Heat Rebate (PTC Rebate) is a state tax rebate that helps make housing expenses more affordable for Colorado seniors and Coloradans with disabilities.

      You may be eligible for the PTC Rebate if: (1.) You lived in Colorado for the entire year. (2.) Your income is under the limit for the year. For the current tax year, the income limits are: - $16,925 for individual tax filers 
- $22,858 for married (filing jointly) tax filers 
 (3.) You (or your spouse, if applicable) were: - Disabled for the entire year (regardless of age) - OR - 
- You were at least 65 years old by December 31, 2021, or are a surviving spouse at least 58 years old by December 31, 2021. 
- You are not claimed as a dependent on any other person's federal income tax return.

      Any Colorado resident who meets the eligibility requirements should submit a rebate application. Once you complete the application, you can bring it to a Colorado Department of Revenue Taxpayer Service Center or send it in by mail to: Colorado Department of Revenue, Denver, CO 80261-0005.
