About THE ECONOMIC MOBILITY PROGRAM

The Get Ahead Colorado and Hacia Adelante Colorado campaigns are funded by the SB22-182 Economic Mobility Program. The campaigns are led by CDPHE’s Economic Mobility Program, which aims to decrease child poverty and increase the economic well-being of all Coloradans across the course of their lives and across generations.

The Economic Mobility Program operates within the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) program at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) and seeks to create an equitable Colorado where all individuals, families, and communities can thrive.

CTC payments helped reduce child poverty by as much as 40% last tax year. CTC payments provide families with extra income that can go towards the things they need most, like groceries, child care, school supplies, clothing, or even a savings account or college fund.
